It is extremely refreshing when you come across people who actually understand the bible and how the church is supposed to operate. Thankful for my brothers and sisters in Christ.
Tired of the injustice…
The thought occurred to me tonight, this past week I bought a video game that cost about $60 to play on my PS3 that I have connected to my flat screen TV in my air conditioned room. I am grateful for the material things that I have, but I am also torn to pieces because in most of the world people are starving. Here I am spending excess money on things of no eternal value. There is so much poverty in the world, so much hunger, so much darkness. What have I done about it? Nothing. I can’t keep going on like this. Jesus said that whatever I do to the least of these I have done unto him…..that stings…I want my faith to be real and active. I have decided to sponsor a child through world vision, I don’t have a lot of money right now and I can’t do much…but I can do this. I can make an impact on somebody now. Can’t wait to meet him.
What a pity….
it is heartbreaking to see the amount of people who arrogantly assume they are going to heaven because they went to church a few times or many times, and they claim to know Jesus. Funny though, the bible tells us all we need to know about Jesus and I am quite sure that he would not approve of your lukewarm mediocrity that you call “Christian” The simple fact of the matter is this; if you act like you did when you first met Jesus, then you didn’t meet the Jesus of the bible and you would be better off asking him for a taco than a trip to heaven. “Do not be conformed but be transformed by the renewing of your minds…” A disciple of Jesus follows Jesus……he doesn’t follow you.
